I ordered the stove and installed it against an outer wall in the kitchen. We created an external chimney with dinak pipe and 12 meters up. I took the connection for the pipe on top to avoid... [ read more ]
Stove expert replied: Not a good idea to store wood close to a stove to dry it out, it should be at least 450mm away as it is combustible!!
It smokes like crazy when you open the doors to load fuel ther seems to be no solution to this. The handles are a bad design and you have to use Oven gloves to open and close them after the... [ read more ]

Stove expert replied: Try leaving a small covering of ash on top of the grates to protect them and remove the ash from the ashpan at least twic a day. If ash builds up and touches the grates ate the bottom this can distort them and will shorten the life of them.

Stove expert replied: If you are using lots of fuel for little heat output then the flue draw may be excessive. This can be addressed with either a damper or flue stabilizer. Further investigation is required to overcome this problem.
