I have installed a hunter 8 and have noticed that the flue baffle plate has fallen from its perch on a few occasions. I bought the stove 2nd hand and the previous owner had a modification done. He replaced the front face of baffle plate replaced with a heavier steel, could it be that the baffle is expanding at different rates and causing it to creep . Otherwise wise an amazing fire. It is only 2 yrs old.
