    Bought this stove four or so years ago. For the price I'm extremely pleased with its performance. I'm on to my second set of new "innards" for it but it's a cheap option to having to spend five... []

    Stove expert replied: The baffle is there for a reason and should be replaced, you may damage the top of the stove if you use it without one!!If you are using household coal this may be leading to the baffle failures as this fuel burns with a much higher flame than smokeless fuels.

    Stove expert replied: This sounds like a problem with the chimney rather than the stove. It might be worth speaking to a chimney specialist as usually this problem can be solved. Worth a try?
