Very disappointed: difficult to light and glass does not stay clean

We moved house back in March where we had a Clearview 500 stove which had served us well for over 25 years. Easy to light and generally the glass was kept clear.

We did not bring it with us as the new house has a more modern looks Yeoman CL5 stove already fitted. It is very hard to light without filling the room with smoke and once lit the window always get black no matter how much air we use.

Although a single story room the flue more than 6 m long so I don''t think that is the issue. I can only think it is the design with the great wide glass it means the fire is not very deep and the flue comes straight out of the top.... hence when opening the door (no matter how carefully) smoke comes into the room.
