I bought this on recommendation of the installer as a replacement for existing poor quality burner. After approx 6 months of using it the glass looked scratched though was still smooth to touch. The installer replaced the glass, now a further 12 months on the glass again looks scratched. Also the ruttle handle has never worked from installation.

Stove expert replied: Glass crazing/scratching is often due to the fuel being burnt having a high sulphur content.
