Review of Woodwarm Fireview 12kw
I have the inline flat top with plinth. The stove is manufactured to impressive tolerances. The casting is by far the best of the others I considered and is on a par with the Jotul and Charnwood options. Saying that its not the cheapest of stoves but it is apparent that it is a quality stove and I have no regrets in choosing Woodwarm over other makes I looked at. The design is fantastic and simple to use. Once heated to temperature the airwash works perfectly and despite having sooted it up on experimentation, it clears itself well and has stayed clean with proper use since. It had a few deposits on the glass when slumbering overnight but again on firing up again it has self cleared. On slumbering overnight; it does slumber quite well and I am getting used to mastering it. there is a small bleed valve on the top air inlet which is meant to allow airflow to match the flue flow/o2 demands of the fuel. In our case the stove requires more airflow to stay alight than the bleed valve allows so you do need to fuel the chamber up and run it a tad hot overnight to allow slumbering. That said it does hold its embers well and is easy to light again in the morning. We have the multifuel option and the variable grate works well. We have found that bringing it up to temperature with solid fuel and then using wood for the flame effect works well and reduces the demand on wood fuel - which is considerable to bring it up to temperature/keep it in temperature range. Overall im delighted with the look, engineering and usability of the stove and would recommend woodwarm to anyone.
