Review of Westfire 23 stove

It's a thing of beauty

Richard Cairns 13 years ago

We have had this stove for just about 2 years now. We love it. When its going well it heats the whole back of our 120 year old house including the new extension. In all about 300m3 I'd guess.

Its tricky to get the burning right though and we still haven't figured out which lever is which. Anyone know?

And yes we broke firebricks too. Replacements cost £100. But it still burns ok.

Stove expert replied: Fine tuning how to use a stove takes time and is worth pursuing, try using only one lever at a time to see what it does and you will soon get to know the best settings for your installation!
