I own the floor standing version with round legs. Great looking stove - convection system really provides great flow of heat throughout the room. Our room is 7x4m and this stove is perfect. When we installed ours and fired it up it gave off huge amounts of smoke from the stove body (paint firing) - this happened on the first few burns but after that it's been a pleasure. Huge front window for fire watching!

Stove expert replied: yep on the first few firings your stove will tend to smell a bit funny and give off some white smoke. This is the hi temp paint curing. I'd recommend opening some windows until the smell goes away. One or two firings should do the trick. If the smell is still there make sure you are getting the stove nice and hot.
