Review of Waterford Stanley Oisin stove

Waterford Stanley Osin

The Osin can be configured as Horizontal or vertical flue. Although small it weighs quite a bit so you'll need some help to move it into position! Knock outs on the back allow you to fit the boiler that will easily heat a tank of water. The air control is split between the fire box and grate. They can't be controlled separately. This doesn't seem to be a draw back and gives for a simple control. The fire box is small and will only stay in over night burning coal. Idea size for an average living room. Big isn't always beautiful. The glass will soot up if your using cheap timber when you throttle back but soon burns clear if you open her up. Make sure you have the fire bars up the right way to direct flames onto the glass to help keep it clear.
