Review of Town and Country Rosedale stove

Fantastic Stove

Ross James 12 years ago

My first ever stove and I absolutely love it. It is elegant with a large glass door so you can see the fire. Its very easy to light only using paper and kindling. The controls are very easy to use, with the exception of the tertiary air control which is a bit out of the way at the back of the stove on the left. That said its left permanently in the half way position which seems to work well for all wood burning. I do however close it when burning coal. I've managed to heat most of our 3 bedroom semi so far this winter with this stove. Even my neighbour said his wardrobe is now an airing cupboard, due to the chimney giving him some warmth.

I now regret not having one fitted sooner, but don't regret having the chimney work and fitting of the stove done by a HETAS approved person.

Stove expert replied: Good value stove heating most of the house so can't be bad!
