Review of Town and Country Rosedale stove

Vey Disapointing

David Glover 3 months ago

Rosedale inset was recommended by a HETAS engineer. It looked good but it never gave of the heat expected. If there was air wash it did not work and the glass constantly needed scrubbing not just cleaning. In the end got fed up with it removed it had the fireplace enlarged and a standard (Pevex) multi fuel stove installed. I have been told by a friend who fits stoves that it was probably not installed properly in that the cavity should have been insulated, consequently heat was being wasted. Not illegal not to insulate but shoddy workmanship by the HETAS engineer who recommended and installed.
