Review of Tiger stove

Intermittent problems

Mary Smith 9 years ago

We've had our Tiger coal-effect gas stove for almost two years and, most of the time, it works very well. However, it has recently begun to malfunction. Ignition can be difficulty, there sometimes seems to be something causing the control knob to stick. The fire ignites on one side only (the right), the flame appears weak and, after a short but unpredictable, amount of time the fire goes out but the gas (worryingly)keeps going. As far as we can work out, it only seems to happen when there are particularly strong winds. It was professionally installed, chimney was swept, liner fitted etc. Any suggstions?
