Review of Tiger stove

The best present I've ever bought myself

DebbieStevens 11 years ago

I live in a village with no mains gas, so when my boiler (gas bottles) packed up I started researching woodburning stoves.

I have to say I am absolutely delighted with my Tiger. It has taken a bit of practice to master but using a combination of smokeless fuel and well seasoned logs I have no problems keeping it burning all night. I find it totally controllable and it heats my little house upstairs and down if I keep the living room door open. I chose the Tiger as I did not know how well I would cope with all that is involved with owning a woodburner. I am now a total convert, its a great focal point to my living room as well as the money it has saved me on gas - let alone replacing a gas boiler. Only one black mark and that is that my rear fire brick has also broken in half which seems to be a recurring theme on the reviews but hey replacement around £30 and I can fit it myself - no plumber required! Love it love it love it.
