Review of Tiger stove

Tiger 5kw

Susie 11 years ago

Have this stove for a weekend now. Good heat and it looks well, however on a very windy night there was a terrible banging from the chimney - is this normal?

The control for turning up and down the heat isn't great either.

Looks very well thorough. I'm not sure whether I can use smokeless coal or not though, it said it was wood burning rather than multi fuel.. Is smokeless coal still ok.

Expert review greatly appreciated ... Thanks

Stove expert replied: Tiger stoves are multifuel, the grate allows for smokeless fuel and wood to be used on it. I would recommend that you get the flue checked as you should not get any banging on windy days, seems strange and investigation into what makes this noise should be undertaken.
