For the life of me, I can't ignite a stove but this one is the exception. With its 3 handles to increase or reduce the amount of air in the stove, even I can control the heat.
You'll never be cold with this one in the house! I bought mine some 6 years ago and stumbled accross this page because I wanted to be sure they still exist. If mine wears out, I do want the same one to replace it. The window normally keeps itself clean. But if you've been giving very little air (to burn the wood slower), the glass will get dirty. Poke up the fire and it'll become clean again. If you have to clean the window while the stove is cold, take a newspaper, make the page a bit wet, dip in the ashes and rub the window. It'll be clean in no time.
