Review of Scan Andersen 4-5 stove
Lower baffle plate cracks
Firstly let me say what an amazing little stove the 4-5 is , we have had ours for some 14 years now. However since October we have gone through 4 lower baffle plates all of which has cracked then simply disintegrated. I’ve tried putting down a smaller fire , using smaller logs to no avail. When I call Jotel UK they said possibly my logs had to much moisture, I disagree as I only burn logs below 20% moisture. My thinking is that the baffle plates are not as thick as when they were new , Iam wondering has this occurred to anyone else or can someone throw some light on this , at £40 each there not a cheap replacement, many thanks.
