Review of Morso Panther stove

Instructions poor and not worth the Money

A Pollard

Purchased this stove late 2010 and within a month of lighting, the rope from the baffle and the door rope came away. Morso sent a replacement, then the door handle catch came loose and fell into the bottom of the stove.

Now only two years on and as a previous reviewer has informed, A hole has appeared in the inner back plate.

It appears that ash can gather behind the back panel and cause this to happen.

There should be more detailed information and instructions on this in the manual. There are also no instructions on how to remove the internal compartments, which is what you are going to have to do to maintain or replace/clean behind the back panel.

The 10 year guarantee is not worth anything as it does not cover any of the internal parts that are in actual contact with the fire.

Overall very angry that we paid £1200 only two years ago and because of the above could not recommend this as a good buy.
