After a great deal of homework we decided on a newly built chimney and a Morso Badger. It was the best decision ever!It looks good and with the double doors to the room open, heats the whole house to varying degrees.The central heating which is oil, turns itself off which is a huge cost saving.The appearance of a fire is lovely and I am amazed how little ash is created.It is also great for drying washing!

The only drawback I have found, is that as it is so warm I fall asleep very easily!

Ours stays alight overnight, although we do not try to keep it going. It justs needs a bit of chiving next day.
