Review of Morso Badger stove

Morso badger 3112-a very good stove

Hb 14 years ago

this is our second morso stove. Started with a squirell upstairs which has been very good.

Now fitted a morso badger 3112 downstairs. This stove is excellent value for money.got a great price from harridge stoves in shepton mallet. I wish in a way we had bought 2 of these in the first place..It's clean burn is excellent and gives out a really good heat. A stove thermometer is a must. the only minor moan is the handle. The handle comes out which is a good idea when you have children around but we have ours on a morso glass hearth so if I drop it which I haven't yet I fear it may damage the glass.... We have the stove situated on a morso standard size glass hearth which works great for us. We also have fitted the morso child safety guard which fits a treat and will keep our little one away from the stove.

all in all really pleased. If it was a decision between a squirell or the badger 3112 I would go with the badger for sure. Stove states on reserve heat max at 5.2kw

our use is only wood so can't advise on other fuel types and can't comment on overnight burning as we don't do it.

Stove expert replied: Morso good solid stoves that give good value for money, good control and pleasing to the eye.
