Ok , reading the other reviews , thought id add my comments

Firsty this was out first multi fuel stove , recomeneded by my friend a heatas engineer .

We had no chimney ,the stove was plaaced centrall to the house , so a twin wall flue was put up through the center of the house ( internal living room wall backing on to the dining room ) the flue ran up through our bedroom next to the airing cupboard , so this was safely lined and was made to blend in with bedroom as is now invisable to those who dont know the flue is there.

The stove is fitted on 2 large indian sand stone slabs rough finished tops and edges to look old and worn .the wall behind is fire board / plaster board which is painted the same as the rest of the room ...white , we have NO fire place/surround around the stove , it is just a stove agaisnt the living room wall , as plain as we could get , so we get heat from the sides and front. AND the stove being a bautiful thing to look at is on full veiw..

The flue from the top of the stove to the ceiling is black enanmel stove pipe .....(this alone give of as much heat IF not more heat than the stove) Then is connected to the twinwall insulated flue to the new terminal on the roof .

my misses actually finds it a pleasant house chore to clean the stove out and enjoys lighting it , good wood left to slowly burn will last a good 5 hours and keeps our living room heated above 21 deg clecius , when burning clean dry wood the ash pan CAN easily go all day with out needing emptying , The heat it does give of is emmense in our installation , the front room is 4.5 meters wide 3.5 meters long with 2.4 meter high ceiling we've had the room temparture to a very NON comforatable 29 deg celcius the first winter we used it as we had the wood and smokelees coal control lever mixed up ( fully in for smokeless fuel out for wood )we had it fully in for the wood we had in it ( allows air up throught the grate )it was like a blast furnace, i had to read through the instructions again to figure out what was wrong ....Good lessoned learnt .

A few little niggles with it , to clean the flue ( swept ONCE in 4 years ) you need to remove the inside fire bricks , if these have cracked ( which is common) they will fall apart and will need replacing , also the top baffle plate can distort with heat over a period of use ( ours was 3 years ) , nothing serious BUT needs sorting before the cold weather kicks in .

We use smokeless fuel on it,about half a coal skuttle on it , shut the stove right down, leave it on over night a full 10 hours and the living room is still very warm WITH the all the internal doors in the house left open to circulate the heat artound the house ...

Overall i love this stove , today the 19th november is the first time this winter that we have had the stove on , fueled it up an hour ago and im happily going to it to place ( once ive finished writing this ) some small logs on for the night , that will last till i put the smokeless fuel on ready for bed ..

Enjoy your stove just as we do .
