Review of Lovenholm stove

Lovenholm Multfuel 2 Door

Great looking stove with easy responsive controls.\nInitially didn't realize that with a small firebox you need to feed it quite often with smaller logs. We use a temperature gauge on the flue pipe to monitor the heat. Keep the working temperature at about 400-425 degrees. Have used smokeless fuel and if banked up does last through the night.\nPaint came off the handle quite quickly and it does get very hot. If this is common why not leave it unpainted? \nThis is our second winter, and very pleased with it. The reported ticking is not a problem and only occurs when heating up or cooling down, and you do not really notice it.\nDownside, in the first year we had to replace the glass, as it had become fractured, and the rope came off the doors. This year the handle has come apart. \n\n

Stove expert replied: A few minor problems but customer seems happy with the stove and the heat it is producing.
