Review of Little Thurlow stove

Little Thurlow

John Warrior 12 years ago

Having first installed a wood burning stove in a previous residence in 1979 and used a Kamina Efel for 28 years we are not new to wood burning stoves. When we moved to a different location we had gas central heating but missed the wood stove. I debated about refurbishing the Kamina but decided against it having looked at stoves currently on the market ..

I eventually decided on a Little Thurlow as it was less money than a clear view which was another contender. We are both very pleased with it and the efficiency and control-ability is excellent compared to our old stove. Hopefully we will get as many years from this stove as we had from our old one, which we thought was very good at the time, but things have greatly improved over the years

Stove expert replied: Technology moves at a great pace and many of the current models have good efficiency ratings, so worth changing for a newer model.
