We bought the stove to replace an open fire which was hopeless. The stove looks really beautiful in the brick herringbone fireplace which we never saw before with the open fire. We use it on chilly Spring, Summer & Autumn evenings when we don't want the CH on & it soon warms up the sitting room. It just looks 'quality' compared with some stoves I've seen & is worth the price tag. I use Astonish oven & cookware cleaner to clean the glass & it works well.
