Review of Little Thurlow stove

Not great, very dissapointed!!!

We bought this fire due to the good reviews! :(((

We have had the fire for nearly 12 weeks and are very disappointed with it so far. Quite a big crack has appeared already on the back fire brick. We will have to pay for a new one. As hardly anything apart from the fire outer frame is guaranteed. Also, the glass gets black, despite us using only fresh very good quality kiln dried logs from a reputable supplier. It is a constant struggle to get the fire to stay in and actually burn the log and we have to watch it every minute. As the former reviewer said, this is with all the air ways open!!

As for the customer services......I rang and told the company where we bought the fire from and they were very rude, telling me that our supplier who has a reputable shop got the fire from Somerset and that our guarantee was now for 1 year instead of 10!!! Non of this had anything to do with us, and her attitude was truly dreadful!

In retrospect we very much regret buying this fire.

Stove expert replied: Again there seems to be an issue with the flue draw, I would suggest you get more advice on this which if this can be improved will undoubtedly improve the performance of the stove. Liners and Glass are not covered under warranty from any manufacturer I'm afraid.
