Review of Little Thurlow stove

We love our Little Thurlow!

Andy Walker 11 years ago

Our first stove, so we worried about what we should be looking for. We used reviews on this website and fairly quickly homed in on the Little Thurlow as being a) very good and b) excellent value for money. We got the 'new' style with a more modern curved front. We love it! It is amazing! It is everything that we read about: So easy to light; very controllable; really quick to heat up; a big wide door and firebox for such a dinky little unit. We are still experimenting and it is a struggle to keep it in overnight with wood, this is not a big deal for me because the room is still warm in the morning. It has become the focal point of our house and even attracts the children back into the home. To say nothing of slashing our gas bill and getting us outside sawing and chopping logs. We have a whistling kettle on top and cook very satisfying casseroles. Definitely the best thing since before sliced bread and much more satisfying viewing than TV! We had it installed in early January and, with a lousy summer, have had all of three months where we left it un-lit. The dogs quite like it as well...

Stove expert replied: So pleased the hear that the reviews are helpful!
