beautiful stove difficult to run

Everyone who comes to my house admires the style of my stove. But every time I use it the glass is totally covered in soot. As one of the main attractions is the sight of the fire through the large glass panels it seems to me that it is important that the glass is kept clear.

I'm not sure if that is a fault of installation or a design flaw. Can anyone help
