we have had this wood burner installed and used each winter since 2008, the first one we had was faulty due to immediate peeling of the enamel from various areas, it was replaced after a few months, 2nd one has been in place for the rest of the time and has continued to peeled, mist of it is hidden so not really in issue as it’s now around 15 years old, i have never been able to keep the glass clean, the wood i burn is mainly oak that’s been seasoned undercover for 3yrs plus, i have just learnt to live with it now, clean it with residue ash every few days, what i would like to know is does anyone know if they can be re enamelled?
