Review of Hunter Herald 6 stove

Double sided single depth stove.

Had the stove fitted about 15 years ago. It''s not as hot as I thought it would be but I put this down to it being double sided. Have thought about changing it, but it''s too expensive. Was disappointed recently when the grate needed replacing, and was told by Hunter that this was now obsolete. I had to get one made at a local foundry, and the template is available if anyone wants to buy it off me....

Limited availability for double sided the damper works well though. I''ve never mastered the airwash system and top vents TBH.
