Review of hunter Herald 5 slimline stove
A brilliant stove
Had stove installed in the old fire place of a Victorian terrace house in Roath in Cardiff a month ago.
Now on the 3rd consecutive evening of enjoying it: Easy to light and control. It is a triple burn which makes it heat the whole house. Bear in mind it is slim line and low, so you get the most impact when sitting low up close to it. So well suited to a smallish terrace house (room). The double door adds character but do get very hot and so you will need to use the gloves supplied plus I use a small stick to nudge open the left door with no handle. But all in all, absolutely thrilled with it. (I do have plenty of draw through the exposed wooden floor boards, but it is not crafty.)
