Read some of the other reviews. I have had mine for 5 years with no trouble. real heat, stays in over night, easy lighting and controlling the heat and fire burn rate. I can only suggest that those who cannot get heat out of their fire must have had it fitted incorrectly. Go to a recommended installer.

Only down side I have found is that Hunter themselves are poor at answering queries etc.
