Bought this stove a few weeks ago, and so far I have to say I'm unimpressed. Firstly it's the most hungry stove I've ever come across, it feels like we're topping it up every hour. The heat output to room is very poor, our Stanley Oisisn which was half the size was far more efficient. Rads (10) are luke warm at best, and that's with a blazing fire with vents open. Wondering about the plumbing though. my plumber only used two outlets and covered the other two, would this account for the poor performance?

Stove expert replied: Ideally all four tappings should be utilized for maxmium performance. The maximum room heat of 3kW's may nessitate a radiator to provide enough heat for the space, check the calculations for the size of room you have (measure in mtrs, find the volume and divide this by 14 = the kW's required, take off 3kW's for the stoves space heating and see what size radiator is needed). Your will need to feed the stove often to enable it to provide enough heat to run 10 radiators, what fuel are you using? You could investigate the flue draw as this may too strong to allow good heat transfer to the water jacket, if this is the case then a damper or stabilizer could be the answer. I recomment further investigation.
