Very disappointed with output, heat goes straight up chimney. I need to leave door open to get full benefit, always putting logs on. Top reflector plate sits in loosely can be dislodged when putting logs on and is impossible to refit until fire dies down. I have spoken to my supplier about this problem who in turn contacted Hunter who did not think there was a problem . Having looked at other Hunter stoves they appear to have fixed metal reflector plates, I think this would be a major improvement for this model.

Stove expert replied: Again get the chimney / flue checked to insure the flue draught is not too strong. Is there a good clearance round the stove to allow the heat to radiate freely?
