Review of Heta Inspire 45 stove

Excellent Log Burner

James Donlevy 3 months ago

I''d always had a Morso 04, which I had good experience. After moving, my regular chimney sweep recommend a Heta 45. I had not heard of them. Anyway went ahead and had one installed.

Superb unit. Lighting upside down to me seemed odd, but now used to it. The glass keeps really clean and the log burning isn''t as ferocious as the Morso which is a good thing. The burn is much more gentle relaxed flame effect.

I only burn Kiln Dried logs, so very clean burn. The ash (which burns down to talc powder consistency) only needs empting 4 to 6 days. Have to leave all the doors in the house open and it does a good job raising the house temperature. About 1900 sqft. Door handle never gets to hot for opening and closing when in use, even without a glove.
