Review of Firefox 8 stove

Great heat output

Mary Mclean 11 years ago

The Firefox is great at firing out heat in our house. The only challenge we have with it is that it is noisy and uses a lot of fuel. There seems to be too much air getting in to it and we can't shut it down to burn more slowly. But for heat it's great!

Stove expert replied: Do the air sliders make any difference when in the closed position? The flue draw can be excessive which prevents the stove from being fully controllable but normally in these circumstances we would expect the heat output to be poor which is not the case with your stove.
