Review of Firefox 5 stove
Firefox 5 Classic Clean Burn
Just had the Firefox 5 Classic clean burn stove fitted into my 1950's Semi... The chimney was sound and had a good draw but opted to have it lined and a cowl fitted. The stove pumped out a lot of heat when burning just seasoned wood we used about 8 'half brick' sized logs in one evening (about four hours). The next night we lit with smokeless coal (about the same price in volume as the wood). The fire consumed about 24 'small fist sized' brickettes over the same period but the difference being the fire was hot all night with all air flues shut... Gave it a stoke, removed ash and the fire could be reignited the following morning at 7am after going to bed at 10pm.\n\n
Stove expert replied: Very satisfied customer. It is worth trying different fuels as they do vary in every installation.
