Review of Firefox 5 stove

Firefox 5

Would recommend this little stove to anyone, what a smasher for the price. I live in a large old terrace, cold and draughty, now snug as a bug with the firefox 5. I am used to open fires and ranges so may have a head start on using this on first timers but found the stove so easy to light and up to heat in no time. I did have problems with the glass getting dirty quickly the first 2 times I used it but by leaving the door open until alight then adjusting airflow appropriately I have had no further problems. For a 5 hour burn I am using a couple of logs and 2 - 3 coal shovels full of coal, that is pretty good.

Stove expert replied: Good review, smokeless fuel not household coal to be used on closed appliances.
