Review of Firefox 5 stove

This is our first stove and I'm really enjoying it. I've not let it burn overnight yet but I'm unable to submit this without giving it a score so I've given an average. I've not yet used smokeless fuel so it's costing more than I thought with logs so I'm going to look into that.
A few things bug me:- a) the primary air slide knob has to be left too loose for my liking. If I tighten it even slightly it won't move when hot. b) There's a simple design fault with the door handle. I'd have thought it would be easy enough to cover it/manufacture it with a non-heat conducting material (as in the Aga Little Wenlock for instance). c) the top door hinge screw partially works it's way out. Additionally the back brick has a top to bottom split after just three months use. The Hetas fitter tells me it won't cause a problem but I'm not so sure and am pushing him to replace it. I'd be grateful for information as to what might happen if it isn't replaced.Stove expert replied: Stove liners are not covered by warranty neither is glass. Providing it is protecting the metal of the stove you can continue to use the appliance, fire cement can be used to keep the two pieces together if required. As this is an inexpensive product the handle will not be engineered to such a high standard as with more expensive stoves. A stove glove is always advisable when operating an appliance.
