Review of Firebelly FB2 double sided stove

burning to quick

Mark Litchfield 10 years ago

The stove looks great I have the black with stainless legs but can't slow the burn down and can't get it to burn with in recommended temperature the highest temperature it will reach is 180 20 degree lower than recommended I fitted a draught flue re stricter in line but made little difference my next step is to fit a draught stabiliser, I wish I had done this before hand but I thought I would not need it. I have a another stove in the house which works really well without any of these flue controls.

Stove expert replied: Different flue system behave in different ways even within the same house. It may be advisable to get professional assistance before spending out more money.
