Review of Firebelly FB1 double sided stove

Purchased and installed fb1 in Novemeber, advised fitter vermiculite fire bricks cracked after two weeks was asuming this would be sorted under warranty. I was advised that Firebelly will not send bricks out as there is no warranty cover on these items. Basically tough luck, if they proved poor quality bricks. All bicks in the sides and roof have now cracked and in roof case have landed in fire. The point of purchasing a firebelly was the qaulity and the cost savings in the long run this is not the case if you are having to replace vermiculite liners every month at £90.00 pounds. I have spoken to the owners wife of firebelly who advised me that it must be moisture or poor quality wood I am burning (If you note I mentioned the cracks appeared after two weeks of installation). I think firebelly is a great looking product but please think carefully if you are buying as the on going costs work out very expensive. Firebelly were not interested in my problem and advised me that they would not be bullied into sending out new vermuculite liners and please note I never asked for that I was only advising them of my issue and have left their agent to deal with this whilst I have no fire.
Stove expert replied: Liners are not covered by a warranty in any stove, if they crack they can be used providing they are staying in place and protecting the metal of the stove. Fire cement can be used to patch the two parts together if required.
