Review of Esse 525 stove

Esse 525 cracking stove

This stove was fitted a few weeks ago by a fantastic installer. I have only experimented with the stove due to the weather being warm, but; this stove is easy to use lights first time and has a good sized fire box. This stove is a multi fuelled stove and so far coal has been the best fuel, as long as you know how to control the burn with air valves this stove will kick out so much heat!!! During the last time I used the stove; the temperature upstairs was a toasty 25 degrees with the temperature downstairs being 25-26 degrees!!!, the stove was also still burning in the morning and made it dead simple to re-fuel and light. The only bad point, but this to be expected, the handle does get very hot but operation is very easy plus a glove is supplied. To end this is an excellent stove that I'm very impressed with. I can't wait to get the stove going this winter!!! You won't go wrong with this stove but I can't stress that investing into an excellent installer is essential to avoiding any potential installation and stove operation issues.
