Review of Esse 300 stove

size doesn't matter

Peter Bloomfield 15 years ago

With electric central heating the heat always ran out about 9pm. So I bit the bullet and decided to buy a stove and chose an Esse because my grandparents had one and swore by it! I now realise why. Being multi-fuel makes it ideal and phurnacite is a superb way of obtaining heat, heat, heat and a very bright glow for the sensory system. Wood is good but causes my back to ache for I have to keep on bending to replenish a log every fifteen minutes, or so. But the stove is 5stars plus in my book. I've never been so warm!
