Review of Esse 125 wood burning stove

Esse 125 Wood Burning Stove

G Jones 13 years ago

The stove is situated in a contemporary new open plan area and fits in extremely well. It looks modern and the large glass window gives an excellent view of the flames dancing around inside. Furthermore, the height of the firebox is large and enables you to fit in a lot or very large pieces of wood.\n\nThe stove is solid and well built for the market it is intended for. I can see how some people might argue that the quality isn't amazing but would imagine they are referring to the solidness of the different parts when you think about a stove. However, it is a contemporary stove and is not rustic with big chunky hinges and 5mm thick steel for the airwash intake adjustment. This is not a stove for a heavy handed farmer who chucks in logs and slams the door! I cannot see any reason why it wont be durable enough.\n\nAdjusting the airwash is a little fiddly as it sticks slightly when you drag it across, but this is no different to any other stove I have had.\n\nFor the size of the firebox and glass door, the contemporary look and ease of use, I think the stove was a bargain. I purchased at StovesOnline.co.uk. Amazing service.\n\n\n
