Review of Esse 125 wood burning stove

Esse 125 review

I have had this stove a few months now as we wanted a contemporary woodburner. I love the round post style that I have seen on some more expensive stoves. unfortunatley we have found that the window on this stove goes black after about 10 minutes of lighting. The controls for the air intake feels like it will snap off before long.\n\nI have not yet managed to get the fire to burn overnight.\n\nOverall build quality dissapoionting for such an established company.\n\n

Stove expert replied: the window problem is very likely to be due to poorly seasoned wood.
