I have this stove fitted in an extension to the house. It looks amazing with a nice wide firebox which gives the illusion of a big fire although it is narrow from front to back. This is ample for my 17 x 12 ft room. It is very easy to get started and draws very easily. My problem with it is it burns too fiercely and I get through logs at a tremendous rate. I have to run it with the door open to slow it down. I find there is very little movement from left to right on the dampers. Is this normal? Can anyone advise me please., there is no way I could use this fire as an all night burner it would only last an hour unattended
