Review of Dimplex Langbrook 5kW
Langbrook se
Bought this stove last year and after only using it for 3 months the baffle plate has completely sunk and split. I contacted Dimplex who then tell me baffle plates are not covered under the 10 year warranty, absolute rubbish. Very expensive product for cheap shabby parts and with poor after sales.
Stove expert replied: Consumable products are not covered by any manufacturer, as you have only used the stove for 3 months and had this failure I would look at how hard you are operating it or the flue draw as this is a short space of time for this to happen. It could be caused by an over-drawing flue that is causing the stove to work hard even with the controls shut down. If this is the case if this is not corrected further damage will be caused to the appliance. I would suggest getting a stove thermostat so you can check the operating temperature is within the parameters suggested by the manufacturer.
