Stiff Handle

Comment already posted but not answered.

After having newly purchased and positioned the stove I equally have to wrench at the handle pulling the stove out of its original position. My wife can't budge the handle.

Can we have some advice on this? Sounds like a common problem. Glass cracked on 3rd low level burn. Still think the Stove is a good one though.

Hope after sales support is as good.

Stove expert replied: The handle should be able to be released by using a releasing spray (WD40) when the stove is cold, ideally take the door off and let is soak for a while. If you can remove the handle and clean the mechanism this would also improve its operational movement. There is also some silicone based produced that is heat resistant which may possibly help on the market. The stove should not move when you open the door as this can cause a problem with the flue seal. The glass cracking can happen at any time and often there is no obvious reason for this, very unfortunate. If the stove is still under warranty I would go back to the supplier if you can't get easy movement in operating the handle.
