The Country Kiln Cathedral stove is one of the medium sized stoves in the Country Kiln range with a maximum heat output of 11kw. It has 3 glass panels, one central one and two in the sides.
i have got to say, these stoves are not that bad for the money, the build and look are ok, and the heat output seems fine.if you want a value for money stove then this fits perfectly, at the
end of the day does it heat the room? answer yes!!a lot of reviews are quite negative, but i think these stoves are ok, over night burns are down to the operator, practice makes perfect..i have fitted a few of these stoves, and the feedback i get is quite positive.i still go to the installs and maintain them, the oldest one being a country kiln 17 3 years since first installed and still going well.value for money, 4 stars.Heat Expert Replies: Good all rounder.
Pretty good stove for the price. Glass panels on the doors come loose occasionally and need to be adjusted. The method of attaching them to the doors could be improved. Stove purchased in
2009 and the grate has disintegrated already with moderate use. Seems to be made of inferior quality metal. Can send you a picture of it by e-mail if you want to show it with the review.

Try leaving a bed of ash to protect the grate and make sure the ash is removed regularly as this will also shorten the grates life!
At first I wasn't sure I was doing the right thing. For the price of this stove I thought it would be made out of cardboard or something. Wow I was amazed! This stove looks great, much much
better then the pictures at the Country Kiln's website. And boy was it heavy, we had to be three people to carry it from one room to its final place in the house. I think the build and finishing are a little bit rough but it does give out a lot of heat. To my surprise I also found out that it had a riddling gate which for some odd reason was not mentioned in the website, nice surprise. An additional feature it has is a lever at the bottom which when opened supplies additional air to the back of the stove. Overall I think it is a very nice and functional stove and looking at the price, definitely worth it. Thumbs up for this stove!
What a load of rubbish , my local wood stove shop told me it would be ,and it was !!!!, the very cheap clark stoves made in china seem to be the same as these kiln craft, the trading standard
people tell me there are a lot of compaints, but are not doing anything about my stove. My local wood stove shop will not touch it, just junk, I coudnt get a hetas reg instaler to fit it what do I do send it back and lose half the original price, peter
