Review of Coalbrookdale Severn stove

Hi Again , Noticed a lot of comments about the glass on this stove browning/tarring up . I have only been using my stove for a couple of weeks but the glass remains clear all the time it your stove temp is between 500/525c . Only use kiln dried wood to start the stove and use excel smokeless after it has caught . Buy a stove thermometer and you will benefit from burning at optimum temperatures, your glass will remain clean and everything will burn to ash . I have no affiliation with excel , I have used it in my other 2 stoves in my home and find it produces a lovely flame and high heat with low ash , all things you want from your stove .

Stove expert replied: Good feedback on using the stove with a thermometer to make sure it is operating within the correct parameters.
