Review of Clearview vision 500 stove

Clearview Vision 500

This is my second winter with my Clearview stove.I can only say how impressed I am with it. The glass stays clean and it heats a very large room efficiently.\nBurning well seasoned hardwood is best as with any stove I guess.\nWe now very rarely use our central heating on the ground floor of the house and we have noticeably reduced our gas bill in comparison to before the stove was installed and that's taking into account what we spend on wood.\nI tend not to deliberately overnight the stove as it is so easy to light but more often than not it still has glowing embers in the grate the following morning and can be brought back to life with some kindling in minutes.\nI ordered my stove with the satin chrome handles and fittings for a slightly less traditional look ( can't stand anything brass!) and it looks mighty handsome.\nOverall I am extremely pleased with my choice and if I were ever to move house this is the one item I would take with me.\n\n
