What a fantastic stove, had this stove for three weeks now and not one regret. The cost of the stove was rather more than we had first planned, but after much research and talking to people our decision as made. Last winter we ran an open fire in a grate, although it gave the effect we wanted the work involved with supplying of wood and dust and cleaning out every day was rather time consuming. The stove is far better, it uses a 1/4 of the wood and pumps out 3 times as much heat. It only needs the ash emptying once a week and lites so easily. The airwash works fine, we have the smoke control kit fitted which I think always allows a small amount of airwash and doesn't allow you to close it down completely, so stops the glass from sooting. It has a good sized fire box with a lovely large glass door so you can see all the dancing flames, which when it is burning well is magnificient.\nOne point to note don't get too bigger stove for your room, we are sat with all the doors open to let the heat into the rest of the house!
